Arrow
The arrow is used to mark or move objects as well as to draw.

When you click the arrow tool the following buttons appear:

snap
smooth straighten
rotate scale

snap
Snap command

View > Snap

Snap activates/deactivates the automatic snapping to objects in Flash.
When snapping is active it helps you drawing straight lines and placing objects precisely.
If you press the SHIFT-key while drawing or moving objects snap is temporary turned on/off.



smooth
Smooth command

Modify > Curves > Smooth

Smooths curves on the selected part of a line.
By selecting a line and clicking smooth several times you make the line more and more smooth.


straighten
Straighten command
Modify > Curves > Straighten

Straightens the selected part of a line.
By clicking straighten several times the line is straightened more and more.


rotate
Rotate command
( Rotere )

Modify > Transform > Rotate

Rotate is used to rotate or skew an object.
Select the object you want to rotate, the click the rotate-button and eight handles appears.
Use the mouse to rotate the object by dragging one of the corner-handles.
Use the mouse to skew the object by dragging one of the four center-handles.


scale
Scale
Modify > Transform > Scale

Scale is used to resize objects.
Select the object(s) you want to resize, then click the scale-button and eight handles appears.
Use the mouse to resize the object by dragging one of the corner-handles.
This will resize the objects without changing the proportions of the object(s).
To change the proportion of the object(s) use one of the four center-handles.
