You can either use a solid color or a gradient.
When you click the paint-bucket the following options appears:
Click an option to get an explanation.
Opens the color pop-up menu, allowing you to choose a color for your brush.
Click the multicolored colorbutton at the bottom of the pop-up to create a new color.
Note: Painting in white is not the same as erasing.
Gap size opens a pop-up menu, that allows you to specify how the paintbucket should treat openings in your drawings. (Ideally the paintbucket must be used within a closed boundary, but this gives you an option to handle small openings in your drawings).
Locks the fill used in your painting.
With transform fill you can adjust the size, angle and center of a gradient fill used on an object.
When transform fill is choosen, the paint-bucket turns into an arrow. Use this arrow to click on the fill you want to adjust.
